You wouldn’t be able to tell after watching Bianca and Massimo’s film that their wedding took place in the middle of a pandemic.
Yet despite all the hurdles, hardships and difficulties that 2020 presented these two, they never wavered. They were going to get married on September 26 regardless of what that celebration looked like. There’s something really powerful about that sentiment.
And so as Covid restrictions changed, so did their plans. What would have been a large celebration on their newly-built property outside Toronto became a wedding at The Breakers Palm Beach, then a smaller affair at the Four Seasons Toronto (where Bianca’s brother, Domenic, and Kristyn married just the year before) and, finally, a European-inspired garden wedding at the historic Graydon Hall Manor.
In a year where we’ve seen the wedding industry upended by an outward unstoppable force, Bianca + Massimo provide an example of what makes a wedding truly beautiful. Your closest loved ones, good speeches, good music, good vibes and fireworks never hurt either. You can feel Bianca + Massimo’s excitement through every frame of their film and the love their family and friends have for these two is palpable, bringing a warmth to their narrative.
