Set in the always beautiful Graydon Hall Manor in Toronto, Danielle and Andrew’s was a day we’ve been looking forward to since Emma (Andrew’s sister) and Mark completely transformed Evergreen Brickworks into an enchanted garden last year. We felt so welcomed and at ease with their families and knew that D+A’s wedding would be nothing short of magical.
A Picture-Perfect Venue
If you’re familiar with our work, you know we’re no strangers to Graydon Hall Manor. Nestled in the heart of Toronto, it is renowned for its timeless elegance, breathtaking courtyard and Paris-like garden. The venue was the perfect backdrop for Danielle and Andrew’s love story. The lush greenery, blooming flowers, and the historical charm of the manor added a touch of romance that made the day even more special.
An Intimate First Look
Despite having shot their preps in the morning, it didn’t feel like the day truly began until Danielle and Andrew shared their first look. This intimate moment set the tone for the rest of the day. The nerves they were both feeling that morning immediately washed away as Danielle let out one of her characteristically giant laughs. As they embraced in the courtyard in front of the manor, the look of sheer love and anticipation in their eyes was nothing short of perfect.
Chill Vibes All Around
What truly made this celebration stand out was the overall relaxed and chill vibe that permeated the entire day. Despite the grandeur of the venue and the significance of the occasion, Danielle + Andrew, along with their friends and family, exuded an air of calm that allowed the day to flow effortlessly.
There was simply no fuss. While there was the threat of rain — which eventually materialized — it didn’t dampen any spirits. From beginning of day, the couple was committed to an outdoor ceremony and moved forward with it, even when things were looking hairy. The result was absolutely beautiful. From the soft glow of their processional with the sun peaking in and out to their first kiss, the cloud coverage provided a natural softbox that made the ceremony look even more magical.
It’s the little things that make this romantic garden wedding special — a kiss blown down the aisle, an intimate first look, a bouquet of fresh flowers cut from a neighbour’s garden, wide smiles, big laughs and warm embraces.
This film just feels good 🥹✨
