When for­mer Toron­to Rap­tor, Patrick Pat­ter­son pro­posed to Sarah, he had already secured Casa Loma and its beau­ti­ful grounds for their stun­ning fairy­tale wed­ding. We were approached almost imme­di­ate­ly to be part of the killer team to bring this vision to life and were so hap­py to have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to tell their story.

The day itself was a sim­ple one — morn­ing preps at the Ritz Carl­ton with the cer­e­mo­ny and recep­tion at Casa Loma — but with­in that sim­plic­i­ty lies the abil­i­ty to cap­ture ele­ments thor­ough­ly and cre­ative­ly. When we had met with Sarah + Patrick ear­li­er in the sum­mer, they had men­tioned they were think­ing of writ­ing per­son­al vows. We were so hap­py to see them do just that as it laid the per­fect nar­ra­tive for their film — recount­ing their first moments togeth­er, what they love about the oth­er and their promis­es going forward. 

Their lives have tak­en them across North Amer­i­ca — from Toron­to, to Okla­homa, and now, L.A. where Patrick plays for the Clip­pers — but through this far-reaching jour­ney, they have found a home in each oth­er. Their love and the com­fort they feel in each other’s arms is felt through their entire film.
