There is no short\u00adage of places that our por\u00adtrait shoots have tak\u00aden us on. We\u2019ve ven\u00adtured into cou\u00adples\u2019 kitchens<\/a> and their cot\u00adtages<\/a>, have ran along lakeshore and hiked through the cliffs of Tober\u00admory, but we nev\u00ader imag\u00adined that one would take us up in the air on a plane pilot\u00aded by a groom.<\/p>\n\"Neal's\n\"jenny\n\"Bride\n\"FLying\n

For as long as Jen\u00adny and Neal have been togeth\u00ader, Neal has owned a sin\u00adgle engine air\u00adplane. It\u2019s been some\u00adthing they\u2019ve enjoyed through\u00adout the years, fly\u00ading to the U.S., the Caribbean, or even just up to Tim\u00admins for pou\u00adtine, but we were par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar\u00adly hooked when we found out Neal pro\u00adposed to Jen\u00adny on one of their flights. Neal men\u00adtioned he want\u00aded the wed\u00adding video to be epic and with a cer\u00ade\u00admo\u00adny at St. Paul\u2019s Basil\u00adi\u00adca, a recep\u00adtion at the Arca\u00addi\u00adan Court and Loft, and the fact that they were char\u00adter\u00ading a fleet of street\u00adcars to trans\u00adport their wed\u00adding par\u00adty and guests to all these loca\u00adtions, we knew it\u2019d be just that \u2014 but we also knew that there\u2019d be noth\u00ading more epic than to go fly\u00ading with them and work that ele\u00adment of their sto\u00adry into their film.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n\"Bride\n\"Bride\n\"Groom's\n\"Groom's\n\"Sheraton\n\"Sheraton\n

We pro\u00adposed the shoot and marked the date on our cal\u00aden\u00addars, but as the date approached, Jen\u00adny and Neal had so much on their plates that we nev\u00ader got a chance to squeeze it in before the wed\u00adding day. No big deal. They had so many dif\u00adfer\u00adent ele\u00adments that this small miss\u00ading piece of their sto\u00adry could be over\u00adlooked in their final film. But then the speech\u00ades came, and one after the oth\u00ader, they spoke of Jen\u00adny and Neal\u2019s love for fly\u00ading and their many adven\u00adtures in the air, and then came Jenny\u2019s amaz\u00ading speech in which she so elo\u00adquent\u00adly described the begin\u00adnings of their rela\u00adtion\u00adship and how she fell in love with Neal and flying.<\/p>\n\"First\n\"First\n\"First\n\"First\n

This is where sto\u00adry comes into play. Could we have put togeth\u00ader a wed\u00adding film for Jen\u00adny and Neal that draws upon their speech\u00ades but didn\u2019t show them fly\u00ading? Yes, but we would have com\u00adplete\u00adly failed them as their wed\u00adding cin\u00ade\u00admatog\u00adra\u00adphers. Had we done that, the film would have felt like it was miss\u00ading this whole oth\u00ader third char\u00adac\u00adter \u2014 one that is talked about but nev\u00ader intro\u00adduced. So we reached out to them the next day and luck\u00adi\u00adly, with all the prepa\u00adra\u00adtions for the wed\u00adding out of the way, we were lucky to find a date that worked once they got back from their hon\u00adey\u00admoon \u2014 one that was almost two months from the wed\u00adding itself, but we were all will\u00ading to wait for the sake of the story.<\/p>\n\"Chartered\n\"Chartered\n\"Chartered\n\"St.\n\"St.\n\"22\"\n\"23\"\n\"24\"\n

It was all more than well worth it though. From the first shot, which draws you in and lets you know this isn\u2019t your typ\u00adi\u00adcal wed\u00adding video, to the flight to the CN Tow\u00ader Toron\u00adto, which then so per\u00adfect\u00adly tran\u00adsi\u00adtions to the wed\u00adding day in the city as we estab\u00adlish the street\u00adcar theme guid\u00aded by Jenny\u2019s nar\u00adra\u00adtion, there are so many things we love about this wed\u00adding film. But as always, we\u2019d prob\u00ada\u00adbly talk too much about every sin\u00adgle shot, when it would just be best to let you enjoy it for yourself.<\/p>\n\"Arcadian","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
