Tara McMullen<\/a> is one of our favourite wed\u00adding pho\u00adtog\u00adra\u00adphers to work with in Toron\u00adto. Her work is as beau\u00adti\u00adful as her per\u00adson\u00adal\u00adi\u00adty and we always look for\u00adward to catch\u00ading up with her dur\u00ading the few wed\u00addings we shoot togeth\u00ader each sea\u00adson. That was espe\u00adcial\u00adly true last year, as we had been dying to hear about her recent move from the city to Prince Edward Coun\u00adty where she had decid\u00aded to ren\u00ado\u00advate and live in an old church with her son, Lachlan.<\/p>\n

To this day, the warmth of Tara and Lachlan\u2019s inter\u00adac\u00adtions fill our hearts and their laugh\u00adter echo\u00ading off of the large cham\u00adbers of their home puts the widest of smiles on our faces.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

So in between all the danc\u00ading at Jess and Misha\u2019s wed\u00adding<\/a>, she told us about all the recent changes to her life, touch\u00ading on a few of her favourite things about Lochy, before ask\u00ading us a sim\u00adple ques\u00adtion: \u201cwould you two be inter\u00adest\u00aded in doc\u00adu\u00adment\u00ading a day in the life of me and Lachlan?\u201d

The ques\u00adtion filled us with excite\u00adment because we our\u00adselves had always dreamed of putting togeth\u00ader a lifestyle piece for Tara and her son. We were deeply inspired by the glimpses of their rela\u00adtion\u00adship we had seen on insta\u00adgram and had she not asked us then, it would have been a mat\u00adter of time before we asked her ourselves.<\/p>\n

So a cou\u00adple of months lat\u00ader, we drove up to PEC and made our way into the lit\u00adtle church off the main road. What we filmed there is some of the most spe\u00adcial footage we have ever cap\u00adtured. To this day, the warmth of Tara and Lachlan\u2019s inter\u00adac\u00adtions fill our hearts and their laugh\u00adter echo\u00ading off of the large cham\u00adbers of their home puts the widest of smiles on our faces.<\/p>\n

In terms of actu\u00adal activ\u00adi\u00adties, it was a sim\u00adple day; we built a fire, we ran around, sang, jumped on a bed, read and played with toy trains. But like all of our films, there\u2019s a lev\u00adel of grandeur that comes from explor\u00ading the rela\u00adtion\u00adships at the heart of each sto\u00adry, and in this par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar film, we took on the great\u00adest bond of them all: that of a moth\u00ader and her child.<\/p>\n
