There was some\u00adthing that stayed with us from our very first meet\u00ading with Rubee\u00adta. She want\u00aded a wed\u00adding cin\u00ade\u00admatog\u00adra\u00adph\u00ader that could look beyond the grand\u00adness that can gen\u00ader\u00adal\u00adly char\u00adac\u00adter\u00adize south asian wed\u00addings. She want\u00aded us to cap\u00adture the still\u00adness of the inti\u00admate moments amidst all the cer\u00ade\u00admonies, cel\u00ade\u00adbra\u00adtions and per\u00adfor\u00admances. In short, she was speak\u00ading right to our hearts.<\/p>\n\n\n\"Sanctuary\n

Our entire style and film\u00admak\u00ading approach is based on the idea of bring\u00ading per\u00adson\u00adal\u00adi\u00adty and an emo\u00adtion\u00adal, impact\u00adful nar\u00adra\u00adtive to com\u00adpli\u00adment extrav\u00ada\u00adgant cel\u00ade\u00adbra\u00adtions; hon\u00ading in on the lit\u00adtle moments that speak about the cou\u00adple, their loved ones, and their over-arching sto\u00adry. It\u2019s some\u00adthing we\u2019ve done for mul\u00adti\u00adple<\/a> NHL<\/a> wed\u00addings<\/a>, Marie-Antoinette-themed muse\u00adum soirees with bal\u00adleri\u00adnas<\/a>, multi-day bohemi\u00adan vine\u00adyard cel\u00ade\u00adbra\u00adtions<\/a>, etc, etc. And yet, Rubee\u00adta inspired us to take that approach a step fur\u00adther. Not that it was dif\u00adfi\u00adcult, either. Rubee\u00adta and Naren\u00addra togeth\u00ader exude that very still\u00adness \u2014 a qui\u00adet calm\u00adness in which only they exist. It\u2019s a mag\u00adi\u00adcal, spir\u00adi\u00adtu\u00adal thing to behold.<\/p>\n

Across the five days we spent with these two, we shot in some of the most beau\u00adti\u00adful loca\u00adtions in the GTA, from Pro\u00adpeller Cof\u00adfee Co. to Tara McMullen\u2019s Sanc\u00adtu\u00adary in PEC (remem\u00adber that one?<\/a>), to the Lib\u00ader\u00adty Grand and a per\u00adfect\u00adly cloudy hike to a water\u00adfall in Hamilton.<\/p>\n\"Sikh\n\"Sikh\n\n\n

Tech\u00adni\u00adcal\u00adly speak\u00ading, we pulled out all the stops. Slow-motion and speed ramp\u00ading com\u00adbined with immer\u00adsive sound edit\u00ading to elon\u00adgate and empha\u00adsize those beau\u00adti\u00adful moments while slow\u00ading down the epic ones. A lot of MoVI Pro<\/a> gim\u00adbal work to cre\u00adate those smooth mag\u00adi\u00adcal move\u00adments that make each shot flow into the next to progress the sto\u00adry. And lots and lots of the new Canon 85L<\/a> for those dreamy close-ups.<\/p>\n\"Couple\n\n
