Set on an expan\u00adsive, tree-lined fam\u00adi\u00adly farm in Ontario, Laya and Charlie\u2019s wed\u00adding not only cel\u00ade\u00adbrat\u00aded their mar\u00adriage but also the rela\u00adtion\u00adships and friend\u00adships that have shaped and mold\u00aded these two into the peo\u00adple they are today. The pres\u00adence of their friends and fam\u00adi\u00adly is felt through every beat of this nar\u00adra\u00adtive as we see their guests\u2019 jour\u00adney, from their ren\u00addezvous under the big tree over\u00adlook\u00ading the pond, through the woods and across a field to the cer\u00ade\u00admo\u00adny space, and over and through the tall grass to the clear-roofed tent where they shared a beau\u00adti\u00adful recep\u00adtion dinner.<\/p>\n

From our first meet\u00ading with Laya and Char\u00adlie, they con\u00adfid\u00aded in us that they want\u00aded a wed\u00adding cin\u00ade\u00admatog\u00adra\u00adph\u00ader that would cap\u00adture their day can\u00addid\u00adly as it unfold\u00aded, plac\u00ading the peo\u00adple close to them at the heart of the sto\u00adry. But these peo\u00adple were there along, their excite\u00adment for L+C seen and heard through\u00adout the entire film, cul\u00admi\u00adnat\u00ading into what has to be one of the wildest horas we\u2019ve ever filmed. Seri\u00adous\u00adly, our jaws were on the floor dur\u00ading most of it.<\/p>\n\n\n
