These sto\u00adries went on to lay out the per\u00adfect nar\u00adra\u00adtive for their wed\u00adding video, link\u00ading all the dif\u00adfer\u00adent pieces of their film togeth\u00ader in an intri\u00adcate web of tran\u00adsi\u00adtions and ref\u00ader\u00adences. Lind\u00adsay recalls want\u00adi\u00adng to go to a Bon Iver con\u00adcert in Nashville instead of New York and Matt\u2019s insis\u00adtence to vis\u00adit the lat\u00adter was her first and only hint of their soon-to-be engage\u00adment, and so the first song in their film feels like a nod if not an homage to 22, A Mil\u00adlion; Matt tells Lind\u00adsay to take a deep breath just before he asks for her hand in mar\u00adriage and we, in turn, see him ner\u00advous\u00adly tak\u00ading a deep breath before their first look; not to men\u00adtion the entire pro\u00adpos\u00adal sto\u00adry begins on a shot of the very rings that have come to char\u00adac\u00adter\u00adize their engage\u00adment, and now mar\u00adriage.
