If you fol\u00adlow hock\u00adey at all, you\u2019ll prob\u00ada\u00adbly rec\u00adog\u00adnize the groom in this video as Corey Per\u00adry from the Ana\u00adheim Ducks. You\u2019d also prob\u00ada\u00adbly know about the incred\u00adi\u00adble sea\u00adson they just wrapped up and why we then only had a cou\u00adple of weeks between the time he and Blak\u00ade\u00adny got back up to Cana\u00adda and their wed\u00adding day to get to know them and put togeth\u00ader this beau\u00adti\u00adful lit\u00adtle same-day edit for them.<\/p>\n\"Corey\n\"Corey\n\"Corey\n\"Corey\n

Over the past year, we e\u2011mailed back and forth with Blak\u00ade\u00adny to get a sense of who the real Blake and Corey are; how they met, how the pro\u00adpos\u00adal came about, what they like to do togeth\u00ader, etc. They final\u00adly found them\u00adselves in Toron\u00adto in Decem\u00adber when the Ducks were facing-off against the Leafs. We took the chance to meet Blak\u00ade\u00adny over cof\u00adfee and real\u00adly hit it off. She told us that Corey trav\u00adels so much dur\u00ading the sea\u00adson that when he\u2019s final\u00adly off, they escape their Cal\u00adi\u00adfor\u00adnia home and make for their cot\u00adtage in Peter\u00adbor\u00adough, Ontario to wind down for a few weeks.<\/p>\n\"Bride's\n\"Groom's\n\"Blake\n\"Bride's\n

We com\u00adplete\u00adly loved this idea and pro\u00adposed that we tag along on one of their lazy cot\u00adtage days and cap\u00adture them get\u00adting a lit\u00adtle R&R. Now the tim\u00ading would be the hard\u00adest part of it all \u2014 the wed\u00adding sea\u00adson being such a crazy busy time of year for us and the Ducks com\u00ading clos\u00ader and clos\u00ader to the Stan\u00adley cup as the sum\u00admer pro\u00adgressed. Luck\u00adi\u00adly, we were able to final\u00adly nail down a date the week before their wed\u00adding and we all met at their cottage.<\/p>\n\"Blake\n\"Blake\n\"Couple\n\"Shuffleboard\"\n\"Corey\n\"Dogwalk\"\n\"Dogwalk\"\n

The atmos\u00adphere was utter\u00adly relax\u00ading and you could tell that Blake and Corey real\u00adly felt at home there and around each oth\u00ader. We quick\u00adly real\u00adized that they\u2019re two real\u00adly down-to-earth peo\u00adple who tru\u00adly find hap\u00adpi\u00adness in each oth\u00ader. Whether they\u2019re play\u00ading shuf\u00adfle\u00adboard, boat\u00ading, or sim\u00adply sit\u00adting around watch\u00ading TV, they make each oth\u00ader laugh and are gen\u00aduine\u00adly more com\u00adfort\u00adable and at ease when the oth\u00ader is around, even if just in the same room. We spent the day doing noth\u00ading and every\u00adthing you can imag\u00adine, while lit\u00adtle kids kept swim\u00adming up to the cot\u00adtage to see if Corey Per\u00adry real\u00adly lived there. The wed\u00adding day arrived before we knew it and we were hap\u00adpy to fol\u00adlow these two around and cap\u00adture all the ele\u00adgance and rus\u00adtic charm. A tes\u00adta\u00adment to just how chill Blak\u00ade\u00adny and Corey are was the fact that they had no idea what to expect for their cer\u00ade\u00admo\u00adny or recep\u00adtion \u2014 they pret\u00adty much let Shealyn at Bliss<\/a> design to her heart\u2019s con\u00adtent, and spent most of the day oohing and ahhing along with us.<\/p>\n\"Evergreen\n\"21\"\n\"22\"\n\"NHL\n

This is a seri\u00adous\u00adly Movi-heavy film, but it real\u00adly helps to tie every\u00adthing togeth\u00ader in dif\u00adfer\u00adent ways. When at the cot\u00adtage, it lends to the relaxed atmos\u00adphere, allow\u00ading us to use longer shots and slow track\u00ading of our sub\u00adjects. This in stark con\u00adtrast to the wed\u00adding day, where faster move\u00adment and the ener\u00adgy in every shot lends excite\u00adment and builds towards a beau\u00adti\u00adful\u00adly cli\u00admat\u00adic finale.<\/p>\n\n\n
