It wasn\u2019t until our last meet\u00ading with Marisa + Josh that they told us they were plan\u00adning to forego wed\u00adding videog\u00adra\u00adphy alto\u00adgeth\u00ader. That was until they stum\u00adbled upon our work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not the first time a cou\u00adple has shared this sen\u00adti\u00adment with us but, being cre\u00adatives them\u00adselves, M+J spe\u00adcial\u00adly picked up on some of the intri\u00adca\u00adcies that set our films apart. They loved our sound design, the filmic qual\u00adi\u00adty of our wed\u00adding cin\u00ade\u00admatog\u00adra\u00adphy, our bold music choic\u00ades and that our nar\u00adra\u00adtives didn\u2019t feel \u201ccheesy\u201d \u2014 they were real and true to the cou\u00adple. But what they real\u00adly appre\u00adci\u00adat\u00aded was that each one of our films felt unique\u00adly its own. As they worked their way through our port\u00adfo\u00adlio<\/a>, they noticed every video was dif\u00adfer\u00adent struc\u00adtural\u00adly and cre\u00adative\u00adly, reflect\u00ading the cou\u00adple at the core of each story.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Any wed\u00adding plan\u00adner, pho\u00adtog\u00adra\u00adph\u00ader, offi\u00adciant, A\/V team, venue staff, coor\u00addi\u00adna\u00adtor will tell you: we\u2019re per\u00adfec\u00adtion\u00adists \u2014 on the day and beyond. We care about each and every detail (A LOT). We colour grade every frame from scratch, we del\u00adi\u00adcate\u00adly EQ every spo\u00adken word in our films and we quality-test both audio and visu\u00adal across iPhones, lap\u00adtops, enter\u00adtain\u00adment sys\u00adtems and even car stere\u00ados to make sure every\u00adthing hits just right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s par\u00adtic\u00adu\u00adlar\u00adly reward\u00ading when a cou\u00adple not only notices how much goes into craft\u00ading these works but appre\u00adci\u00adates each metic\u00adu\u00adlous trait separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so we are ecsta\u00adt\u00adic to have made Marisa + Josh their own lit\u00adtle mas\u00adter\u00adpiece. Casa Loma, with its regal archi\u00adtec\u00adture and sprawl\u00ading gar\u00addens, stands as one of the most nat\u00adu\u00adral\u00adly stun\u00adning wed\u00adding venues in the heart of Toron\u00adto. Nes\u00adtled amidst lush green\u00adery and steeped in his\u00adto\u00adry, it pro\u00advid\u00aded the per\u00adfect can\u00advas for Marisa + Josh\u2019s cel\u00ade\u00adbra\u00adtion. What tru\u00adly set this wed\u00adding apart was the bal\u00adance between ethe\u00adre\u00adal ele\u00adgance and a relaxed, com\u00adfort\u00adable atmos\u00adphere. As their offi\u00adciant, Jere\u00admy Cit\u00adron<\/a>, read a pas\u00adsage from \u201cThe Alchemist\u201d by Paulo Coel\u00adho, there was an unde\u00adni\u00adable sense of tran\u00adquil\u00adi\u00adty in the air. The read\u00ading spoke of dreams, des\u00adtiny, and the pur\u00adsuit of one\u2019s true call\u00ading. Its words mir\u00adrored Marisa and Josh\u2019s jour\u00adney beau\u00adti\u00adful\u00adly and pro\u00advid\u00aded the per\u00adfect nar\u00adra\u00adtive for their wed\u00adding film.<\/p>\n\n\n\"Bride\n<\/picture>\n\"Bride\n<\/picture>\n\"Bride\n<\/picture>\n\"Groom\n<\/picture>\n

Intimacy In Every Frame<\/h3>\n\n\n

The heart of the video lay in por\u00adtray\u00ading the cou\u00adple\u2019s pro\u00adfound com\u00adfort when they were togeth\u00ader. Marisa and Josh shared a con\u00adnec\u00adtion that was pal\u00adpa\u00adble and we focused on cap\u00adtur\u00ading those unscript\u00aded moments where their love shone the bright\u00adest. The stolen glances, the gen\u00adtle touch\u00ades and the shared laugh\u00adter paint\u00aded a vivid pic\u00adture of their dynam\u00adic. One of the most excit\u00ading aspects of this film was our deci\u00adsion to embrace a hand\u00adheld look. This shoot\u00ading style allows us to cap\u00adture moments with an unprece\u00addent\u00aded lev\u00adel of inti\u00adma\u00adcy. The shak\u00adi\u00adness of each frame brings view\u00aders into the scene and clos\u00ader to the gen\u00aduine emo\u00adtions of the day, accent\u00ading and ele\u00advat\u00ading the cin\u00ade\u00admat\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly pol\u00adished look of our films. Preserving the Magic<\/h3>\n\n\n

As wed\u00adding video\u00adg\u00adra\u00adphers, our mis\u00adsion was clear: to encap\u00adsu\u00adlate the essence of the day in a time\u00adless film that would allow Marisa + Josh to relive their spe\u00adcial day with each watch. The sweep\u00ading shots of the venue, the can\u00addid moments dur\u00ading the por\u00adtrait ses\u00adsion, and the heart\u00adfelt speech\u00ades formed the build\u00ading blocks of a nar\u00adra\u00adtive that beau\u00adti\u00adful\u00adly told their story.<\/p>\n\n\n\"Bride\n<\/picture>\n\"Groom's\n<\/picture>\n\n\n
