Founded in 2011, Outside In began as a boutique studio crafting wedding films in the Toronto area. The dream was to tell real stories, capture stunning visuals and preserve once-in-a-lifetime memories — without the cheese. Our background in art, design, and film, combined with our natural curiosity and general passion for people-driven stories led to a unique vision and distinct aesthetic.
We knew from the beginning that we wanted to create wedding films that were completely modern but timeless and classic.
Today, after capturing hundreds of unforgettable celebrations, traveling to breathtaking destinations, working with clientele ranging from the NHL to the NBA, and creating a portfolio we’re immensely proud of, we’re humbled by the journey and grateful for the incredible people we’ve met along the way.
We’re Ricardo and Victoria, but you can call us Ric + Vic.
We’re a husband and wife team who call Toronto home. When we’re out of office, we treasure slow living and finding the extraordinary in the ordinary. Our idea of a perfect night involves a 🍕 pepperoni pizza, a 🍷 great bottle of wine, and a 🎞️ few good films.
But when we want an adventure, we get packing. Our love for travel has taken us to some incredible places and given us unforgettable experiences — Japan, Paris and Iceland hold a hard top three.
We made a promise to ourselves over a decade ago to never be complacent.
We continue to let inspiration from all sources influence our work. It’s not always wedding-related (and we prefer it that way) — it’s often a new music video, a song or score we’re vibing with, the shows we're currently binging or a cinematic style or genre altogether (think Wes Anderson).
We’re excited to see where our work takes us and where we’ll take wedding films in the years to come.
