Set in the always beau­ti­ful Gray­don Hall Manor in Toron­to, Danielle and Andrew’s was a day we’ve been look­ing for­ward to since Emma (Andrew’s sis­ter) and Mark com­plete­ly trans­formed Ever­green Brick­works into an enchant­ed gar­den last year. We felt so wel­comed and at ease with their fam­i­lies and knew that D+A’s wed­ding would be noth­ing short of magical. 

A Picture-Perfect Venue

If you’re famil­iar with our work, you know we’re no strangers to Gray­don Hall Manor. Nes­tled in the heart of Toron­to, it is renowned for its time­less ele­gance, breath­tak­ing court­yard and Paris-like gar­den. The venue was the per­fect back­drop for Danielle and Andrew’s love sto­ry. The lush green­ery, bloom­ing flow­ers, and the his­tor­i­cal charm of the manor added a touch of romance that made the day even more special.

An Intimate First Look

Despite hav­ing shot their preps in the morn­ing, it didn’t feel like the day tru­ly began until Danielle and Andrew shared their first look. This inti­mate moment set the tone for the rest of the day. The nerves they were both feel­ing that morn­ing imme­di­ate­ly washed away as Danielle let out one of her char­ac­ter­is­ti­cal­ly giant laughs. As they embraced in the court­yard in front of the manor, the look of sheer love and antic­i­pa­tion in their eyes was noth­ing short of perfect.

Chill Vibes All Around

What tru­ly made this cel­e­bra­tion stand out was the over­all relaxed and chill vibe that per­me­at­ed the entire day. Despite the grandeur of the venue and the sig­nif­i­cance of the occa­sion, Danielle + Andrew, along with their friends and fam­i­ly, exud­ed an air of calm that allowed the day to flow effortlessly.

There was sim­ply no fuss. While there was the threat of rain — which even­tu­al­ly mate­ri­al­ized — it didn’t damp­en any spir­its. From begin­ning of day, the cou­ple was com­mit­ted to an out­door cer­e­mo­ny and moved for­ward with it, even when things were look­ing hairy. The result was absolute­ly beau­ti­ful. From the soft glow of their pro­ces­sion­al with the sun peak­ing in and out to their first kiss, the cloud cov­er­age pro­vid­ed a nat­ur­al soft­box that made the cer­e­mo­ny look even more magical.

It’s the lit­tle things that make this roman­tic gar­den wed­ding spe­cial — a kiss blown down the aisle, an inti­mate first look, a bou­quet of fresh flow­ers cut from a neighbour’s gar­den, wide smiles, big laughs and warm embraces.
