Hayley and Jeff shared an intimate slightly Jewish/slightly Macedonian celebration at the always beautiful Kurtz Orchard — like seriously, this is one of our all-time favourite venues.
This is a heart-warming story about friends — best friends — who actively and knowingly chose to becomes partners in life. It’s a theme that’s at the forefront of Hayley and Jeff’s film — one that is present in every single narrative element but most felt when Hayley reads a letter that Jeff wrote to her six years ago when he realized he loved her as more than just a friend.

Although Sydney and Ryan had already reserved us as their wedding cinematographers by the time Aryne and John celebrated their own wedding last year, we hadn’t yet had a chance to meet in person. We didn’t know what they looked like or that they’d even be there, but we were immediately drawn to them and they ended up making quite of number of appearances in that film (you can’t miss Ryan on the dance floor with his sunglasses on upside down, making faces at the camera, drink in hand). They just had that perfect “something” that we always look for when capturing guests enjoying a wedding day — they had fun, were natural, easy-going, and lost themselves in each moment, forgetting we were even there.

It’s hard to not get absolutely all the feels when watching this film . Honestly, 😆😍🥺😵🤯😭😮🤩☺️. And while we wish we could take all the credit for just how powerful this film is, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention Nicole + JF and their ability to lose themselves in each other and every single moment of their day. As Morgan and Adam recount in their speeches, they were all-in from the moment they met. It was a seamless transition from that conversation at a bar near Utica College to the life they built together across New York and Canada. This effortless love is immediately felt when in their presence and made their wedding day an absolute joy to be a part of. continue reading
There were quite a few things we were excited about going into Jordan and Andrew’s wedding day. For one, it would be taking place at Kurtz Orchards in Niagara on the Lake, one of our favourite vineyards in Ontario. They would also be sharing a sparkler-lit first dance in front of a coach house during golden hour. On top of that, they would also be having a horse join them at sunset for a stroll through the vines.
All of these elements lent themselves to a fairytale, storybook theme that allow Jordan and Andrew’s dreamy decorations, picturesque backdrops, and emotional narrative to shine through. continue reading
We met with Jess + Matt over a year and a half ago, just before they jet-setted to the UK to start a new chapter of their lives together. We didn’t know it at the time, but this was characteristically “them” — forever travelling, forever moving, always adventuring.
